Masonry in Enterprise Kansas became active in 1924, the Lodge and its members used several locations in town to meet, the last building was shared with the local Senior Center. The second floor of the building became home for the Masons who meet every second Monday of the month. The members had to climb 26 steps up to the Lodge Room, making it very difficult for elderly members who were unable to the climbing stairs to attend.

The building had been in need of repair for some time, after being condemned by the City Engineer in 2007, the Lodge and the Senior Center moved out to find another place to meet. In June of 2007, two weeks after the Lodge moved out of the building, the City of Enterprise experienced heavy winds and rain for a few days, and the entire back wall of the building fell down and the building had to be removed. We still continued to confer degree work with the help of Union Lodge #7 of Junction City who allowed us to use their Lodge Room until we found a new place.

About October 2007, we received word that we could purchase the Old Library Building because they had a new building in town. The Lodge members and some friends helped move the Library to its new Location and we purchased building to become our new Lodge. The old Library building use to belonged to a Brother Mason of Enterprise Lodge who had sold the building to the City, who then turned it into a Library and now this building once again belongs to the Masons.
